The good, the bad, and the ugly experiences of school

Every student can recall a time when they really felt good about what they had learned, how they learned it, and knowing that’s one of their best educational experiences they’ve had. For myself, my best educational experience was in high school in my history classes. Although my teacher was actually very tough and that class was the one I did the poorest in, it was the one that was the most educational for me. The teacher had many methods of teaching that really appealed to me, fieldtrips, movies, and my least favorite taking notes until my hand felt like it was going to fall off.

The worst educational experience I’ve ever had was in my 11th grade physics class. The teacher himself was extremely incompetent in any math and expected people who had never seen calculus to know it for tests. Even passing that class was an achievement for everybody. When a teacher doesn’t know something and is attempting to pass his knowledge of nothing on, there is no point.  Which is probably the reason he was replaced halfway through the year, unfortunately our grades could not be erased like him.
